KTPs in Social Enterprises, Charities and not-for-profit organisations
KTPs in Social Enterprises, Charities and not-for-profit organisations
Join us and your peers on Wednesday 11th of May 2011 to find out how the London South Bank University grant funding programme can directly benefit your organisation.
Why Should I go?
See for yourself how London South Bank University and the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme can help your organisation grow, compete and succeed. Having already partnered with value driven Charities such as the Royal National Institute for Deaf people (RNID), Daycare Trust, Alzhemimer's Trading and Blue Sky Regeneration, we know Social Enterprise partnerships work.
Who will be there?
Hear directly from your industry partners about how they have taken advantage of the KTP programme to help pursue new income opportunities, eliminate knowledge gaps, increase employment and ensure the same rights, opportunities and quality of life for their members.
you will also hear from Social Firms UK who are offering KTP to their members to help improve, amongst other things, their social enterprise commitments and the impact of information systems development on the infrastructure of todays enterprise business environments.

What will I find out?
The public, voluntary and not-for-profit department at LSBU houses expertise in Charity Management, Charity Marketing and Accountancy, Social Responsibility, Business Ethics and Organisational Development to name but a few, meaning LSBU is ideally placed to support KTPs in this sector.
Professor Alex Murdock, Director of Centre for Government and Charity Management, university leas for the Social Enterprise element if the Social and Economic research council and resident expert in not-for-profit management, will talk from academic perspective, about the benefits of partnering with a university to help achieve your goals.
